Electronics Design Engineer:
As an Electronics Design Engineer you will work in a multi-disciplinary team to specify and deliver a range of key objectives to support and develop Isotopx products. Your responsibilities would include:
- Specification, simulation, design and productionisation of electronics hardware
- Writing of firmware and software test applications
- Meeting mission and time-critical deadlines for product delivery
- Assisting specification and delivery of new product development
Ideally you will have:
- Project management methodologies, tools and techniques including requirements definition
- Ability to work independently as well as in an environment of teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to meet and coordinate multiple tasks and tight deadlines
- Ability to function as a team member
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Honours Degree in Electronics or related scientific discipline (ideally physics)
- Prior experience with scientific instrumentation
Development Scientist:
As a Development Scientist you will work in a multi-disciplinary team to specify and deliver a range of key objectives to support and develop Isotopx products. Your responsibilities would include:
- Design, test and validation of mass spectrometers, components and accessories from proof of concept though to production
- Writing of specifications for mechanical/electronics/firmware/software teams
- Analysis and characterisation of new instrumentation hardware/electronics/software etc, and providing feedback on designs
Ideally you will have:
- A background in the development of scientific/analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as in an environment of teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to meet and coordinate multiple tasks and tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s Degree or higher in Physics or related scientific discipline.
- Hands on experience with the design and operation of scientific instrumentation
